Meet Laura

Hello, and welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found Lucrative Movement.
My passion is helping people of all ages discover greater ease, confidence, and possibility through movement. Whether you are seeking support for your baby, your child, yourself, or your athletic performance, I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
My Journey to NeuroMovement®
From a young age, I was drawn to helping people move better and live more fully. In high school, I considered a career in physical therapy. Shortly after graduating, I began working in a group home supporting individuals with disabilities, where I gained early exposure to Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies.
Life took a profound turn when my son sustained a severe brain injury. Like many parents, I searched tirelessly for ways to help him. When traditional therapies did not provide the progress we had hoped for, I began exploring other approaches and searching for new possibilities.
Twenty-four years later, I discovered the Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement®. The changes I experienced—both for my son and for myself—showed me the incredible potential of the brain to learn, adapt, and create new possibilities through movement.
Inspired by these experiences, I became a certified Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® Practitioner. Today, I work with babies, children, adults, and athletes, helping each person discover greater ease, improved movement, and new possibilities for learning and function.
My Training & Experience
I am a certified Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® Practitioner and have completed the Anat Baniel Method® Basic Certification, the Children with Special Needs Mastery Program, Anti-Aging, and High Performers training programs.
My work is based on the principles of neuroplasticity—the brain’s remarkable ability to learn, adapt, and change throughout life. Every lesson is individualized, using gentle touch and mindful movement to support meaningful learning and lasting change.
Beyond My Practice
I believe in living what I teach. I continue to enjoy an active lifestyle as a lifelong athlete, a 4th-degree black belt, and a volunteer martial arts instructor. I also continue my lifelong love of softball.
My own experiences using NeuroMovement® to improve back pain, balance, strength, flexibility, and overall movement continue to deepen my appreciation for this work and reinforce what I share with my clients every day.
As both a practitioner and a parent, I understand that every person’s journey is unique. My professional training, combined with my personal experiences, allows me to bring compassion, understanding, and respect to every lesson.
My Philosophy
I believe every person has the ability to learn and grow, regardless of age, diagnosis, or ability. My goal is to create a safe, respectful environment where learning unfolds naturally and people discover new possibilities for movement, comfort, confidence, and everyday life.
Changing Lives One Movement at a Time isn’t just my tagline—it’s the heart of my work.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you discover what’s possible through movement.
